Orientis DMC sends its condolences to the victims of the Sichuan earthquake that took place on Saturday, 20th April at Ya’an City and wishes a quick and a successful rescue operation for all those involved. We can confirm that all of our passengers and staff are safe and all itinerary routes have been redirected to a non-effected zone.
We continue to follow the situation closely and at the moment, according to Chinese officials, Ya’an city in Lushan County is closed until further notice. In addition, Bifengxia Giant Panda Base is also closed. Alternatively, Chengdu Panda Centre is fully operational, as well as Jiuzhaigou and E’mei Shan.
